Early in the mornings Eliza and I have been walking along the Strand in Townsville. From here we return to the dash across town to visit our little princess.

Adelaide is still a patient in the children’s ward and with super Dad a consequent resident on the children’s ward also, I felt very loved (and lucky) to find these resting on my pillow yesterday.

Especially because my pillow is much more comfortable than Rob’s…..he has been sleeping in the children’s ward for the past 9 nights!

Adelaide has all her charisma back on board. She is charming the nurses, doctors and orderlies, taking strawberry milk (the camouflage for antibiotics) three times a day, sliding down the slippery slide in children’s play area and enjoying the uninterrupted attention of her parents. We’re hopeful that our stay in hospital is nearing the end, at the moment her stay is a precautionary measure. And when it is a head injury, I don’t mind taking precautions…..

oh SUCH great news! was in Townsville on Monday, racing around getting kids to various appointments, but I did think of you as I was driving about (I did notice how glorious the weather was on the strand as well, as I ferried on kid to a riduculously placed Dr’s office on the side of the hill!) hope you are home soon!

Ainsley, lovely to see Adelaide looking remarkably bright and happy. How are you holding up?
And I think next header, we need to see Dad with both cape and halo added!
Hope you are all home very soon. Am sure there are some little boys (and one big girl) eagerly awaiting your return.
