The little kids, now on school holidays, are busy with preparations for the Junior Beef Show next week.
They’re really lucky to have Tess home at the moment to offer  some advice and coaching…..
…..like how to hold the lead rope in your little hand.
The steers have been halter broken for a while now although both steers and boys still need lots of practice. Hence our mock parading class on the front lawn this morning.

All the time, Tess calmly offered advice and encouragement.

I was appointed steward and judge,

as well as photographer.

Tess is just twenty-one years old. She is a wonderful role model to her little siblings … she is firm but fair…..

… fun to be with yet definitely not a push over!
Because schools out, she could then take some of the troupes mustering and offer some tips on horsemanship.

We’re all so lucky to have a Super Big Sister in our family!
