After celebrating the end of 2012 and the arrival of 2013 with dear friends on the verandah, the first day of the new year was for rest and recuperation.

Authentically Australian as we enjoyed a watermelon after lunch.

And why did Eliza feature more than once? Because she was the biggest melon muncher of all!
