Lots happening here at the minute, with an eagerly anticipated family holiday planned for the week ahead. Consequently, I only have one exercise shot to show for the last 5 days!
The above clouds developed into a showery day, delivering 12mm of welcome rain. Any rain in Spring for us is a bonus, as September is traditionally our driest month.
Of course, showers of rain give hope and often deliver a rainbow.
The sprinkler works hard here, to keep an expanse of lawn green. Those living in the bush well know, if water is ample, how a green expanse lifts spirits and helps to lay the dust. Funny how know amount of hosing can brighten things as much as moisture from the sky though.

In other photographic moments of the week, these trusty RM Williams boots that were once mine (20 odd years ago, mind you) and were then passed onto Andrew have been retired. I think they’ve earned it, don’t you? Kind of symbolic to the longevity of the brand. What else springs to mind? I know my Dad has a Landrover or two in his shed……. much loved, short wheel based, done a million miles.

Lovely photos. Seems kids grow into mums things far too quickly. Definitely a well worn pair of boots.
