An early start in our household this morning, as Tess had a plane to catch….one that will arrive in Houston, Texas 18 hours later so that she may commence her Australian Brahman Breeders’ Edgar Hudgins’ Scholarship.
An opportunity that every Mum wishes for her child. A trip of a lifetime.
Like all good blogger’s I had a thousand words written in my head about family milestones, dreams for your children, opportunities abounding, role models and a mother’s pride but tonight, as I download the family snaps we took at 5.30 this morning none of these words will flow……

I’m simply too proud…….

that is the most gorgeous family shot, the last one – you are getting the hang of the timer now!

I still want to know, did mum cry? Adelaide looks a bit worried…and Tess straightened out her gorgeous curls! (we always want what we don’t have! I always wanted long, straight glossy brunette hair!)

    Safe travels Tess!

Funny you mention the self timer, we tried to take the “family shot” the night before but failed because I couldn’t remember how to work the blessed thing!

ps. 1. its super light at 530 at your place and 2. those kids are bright and sparky considering they would have been up a lot earlier to be all spit and polished for town!!

While it was daylight at 530, the brightness was all trick photography! ISO, Tripod, Shutter Speed and a very nice camera!!!

Justifiably proud Ainsley. Tess is exactly the girl we all want our daughters to grow up to be. Wishing her an amazing adventure.

That’s a nice big family you’ve got there! And what a fantastic opportunity for Tess, I hope she enjoys every minute.
