Eliza is now just over 18 months old.
Still not walking, but that’s OK.
Her trousers have no “backside” left in them after the shuffle…
… and sometimes she chooses to crawl in a normal fashion.
Just lately, she’s taken to climbing on things….kitchen stools, chairs and ladders.
As she grows a little older and a little more independent, she is becoming a little more of a scallywag in the classroom.
Although she does enjoy practicing her fine motor skills and colour patterns from time to time!
This past week we have been playing lots of bingo and sound games with Prep and eKindy….I hope Eliza is paying attention. I’m thinking we could fast track through this when her turn comes…

Although I’m sure she will enjoy her turn at self portraiture and modelling Daddy in her eKindy year.

And writing about Bear & Chook when she finally gets to Prep…

But in the meantime, I think the best place for Eliza’s learning is out in the field.
She’s certainly not ready for a persuasive response (Year 2 English) or  animating an ethical dilemma (Year 5 English) just yet!

She can be the king of the castle….
…and have some time to herself!!

little monkey. Cannot not imagine how a noisy toddler would go in the classroom, wanting to get into everything (and everyone’s stuff!). Would be terribly distracting! Thank goodness for super-dad 😉 She’ll be terribly handy by the time she’s 3!
